my name is jacob guthrie and i’m an 18-year-old freelance creative from ventura, california. i’ve owned a camera since i was 9 years old and since then, i’ve been fascinated by the art of content creation. in April of 2020, COVID lended me a surplus of free time, and around that same time i began to get offers to take photos, and it was at this time i founded jacobtylerphoto. i am so grateful to be able to do something i love for a living, and take pride in every single job i have the blessing to receive.

over the last 3 years (wow!) i have turned what once was a portrait photography business into a creative agency, and we now have had over 50+ happy clients. we now offer photo & video of all kinds (weddings, events, properties, etc.), but have expanded our reach to web design, graphic design, and social media content creation.

outside of photography, i currently work for a company called Rincon Strategies as a coordinator and creative in the political and public affairs world. i also am currently attending Westmont College as a second year student in Santa Barbara, California.
